202.5, down 1 lb from 10/23's 203.5.

I'm getting there. That change of the hundreds digit is in easy sight. That great day is closer than I think!!

On that day, I will have 55 pounds left to lose; the long-term goal is now set at 145.

Weighing In 10/23/2018

203.5. No change from yesterday.

And that's a good thing. Two pounds is a precipitous drop, and I cannot drop 2 pounds per day and hope to maintain either the rate or, in the long run, the weight loss. So I'll sit here for a couple of days at 203.5, eyeing that 199.75-pound goal from a distance of 3.75 pounds ...

I now weigh less than I have since I was pregnant. And that's a VERY good thing!

Weighing In 10/21/2018

205.5, down 0.5 from the forever weight of yesterday (and many days before yesterday) of 206.

Gotta love egg-grapefruit days! They do break through plateaus.

I haven't been particularly faithfully doing my Callanetics. I need to get better about that. I will record the audio track on AudioNote and have it on my phone when I go to the gym. It's a great workout, but I need to actually DO it. That's the best and fastest way to affect measurements and get an actual waistline back.

But hey: I'm getting there, albeit very slowly. And very slowly is actually the way to do this. On 1 October, I weighed 209.75, so I'm down 4.25 lb this month ... which sure beats being up 4.25 lb!!

Fifty. Pounds. Gone.

I started this at 256 lb. Today I am at 206 lb.

That's a definite milestone! I am, slowly but surely, winning the weight-loss war!

Yeah, I ate badly yesterday. Egg-grapefruit (well, egg-orange, since Walmart didn't have grapefruit last night) day today. Let's kick this back into the right direction!

207. No change from yesterday's 207.

The precipitous weight drop-off had to end eventually. I'm ok with it ending now.

Besides, I ate cookies yesterday when I gave blood. Give blood, get cookies. And I had all-you-can-eat sushi for lunch.

This morning, though, I have Darryl. He'll kick my weight-loss back into gear; not a problem. But maybe, just on principle, I'll do an egg-grapefruit day tomorrow. Especially since I'm going out for dinner tonight (I have a hot date) and will likely have a bleu cheese burger.

Weighing In 10/3/2018

207.0, down l pound from yesterday's 208.0.

I'll take it!

I'm pretty sure it's water weight lost; Darryl really, REALLY kicked butt last night at the gym, and I was dripping sweat; I couldn't even do some of the exercises (I simply modified a bit and stayed moving through the burpees (squat thrusts with a pushup in the middle and a jump at the end ... no way) and the rope climb).

Also, yesterday's food was pretty sparse. I ate my usual bran muffin for breakfast, had a smoothie (whey protein, apple, peanut butter, 1 Tbsp dark chocolate, water) for lunch, a protein bar (230 calories) to buck up for Darryl's class, then a pork chop and green beans stir fried in a capful of olive oil for dinner. Oh ... and two bowls of frozen strawberries for dessert!

He didn't give us homework, so I'll simply continue with the Callanetics (which I was going to do anyway).

Love those 1-2-pound drops in a day!! Don't I wish they could happen every day....But that is not sustainable.

I have a Darryl workout tonight, so no Callanetics today. Tomorrow, yes, but not today.

Weighing In 10/1/2018

209.25, down from 9/29's 210.

Since I started on 9/1/2018 at 218 lb, I've lost 8.75 lb. That's not too shabby. It's had its ups and downs, and I traveled some in September (always a Problem for weight loss), but I show a net loss, which I'm happy about.

The stuff I'm doing at the gym doesn't hurt. That challenge has me doing Callanetics four days this week (today will be the fourth) and has me feeling pretty good. I still can't do a squat-thrust, but I'll get there; it's a 10-week challenge with Darryl (my personal trainer, who is magnificent at kicking butt) and that can't help but get me closer to where I want to be!

Here are today's measurements. I didn't measure last month until 9/9, so it's only 21 days' worth of loss this month. That problem is remedied; today's the first of the month, and I measure on the first of the month.

Since starting on 3/14/2017, I have lost a total of 78.125 inches and 46.75 lb!! No wonder my clothes are falling off of me!! Percentage-wise, I've lost 18.06% of my body mass since 3/14/2017, and 3.78% of my body mass since 1 September (when I weighed in at 218). 

This past month, I lost a total of 3.875 inches, which also isn't too shabby. I've lost, percentage-wise, 15.18% (!!!) of my body measurement since 3/14/2017 and 4.0% of my body measurement since 9/9/2018.

I'm stoked!!
